Brothers Inspiring Brothers Since 1969
It all started in 1969, when Jack Fishman read about a Rock-A-Thon at East Carolina University that had raised over $900 for the March of Dimes. Soon, Fishman and rocker Gary Panitz spearheaded a campaign that would raise $3205.29 for the March of Dimes. 57 years and over 1.5 million dollars raised later, we still rock every other April.

What is Mizzou Rock-A-Thon?
Rock-A-Thon is a fundraiser organized by Alpha Epsilon Pi Mizzou in partnership with the American Cancer Society every other April. One brother sits in a rocking chair for 63 hours straight in the heart of downtown Columbia, MO, while the rest of the chapter collects donations throughout the city. The event began in 1969, and has since raised over $1,500,000 for the American Cancer Society. In 2025, AEPI Rock-A-Thon raised over $212,000 for pancreatic cancer research. In 2027, the men of Alpha Epsilon Pi will be raising funds that support colorectal cancer research. Learn more about colorectal cancer here.
